Who we are

It started with Gauss.
When our first son Gauss was born, I was overwhelmed — not just by the beauty of new life, but by the products handed to me: lotions, creams, and ointments filled with ingredients that read like chemistry experiments, wrapped in packaging that felt clinical, cold, and disconnected from the care I wanted to give my child.

I asked a simple question.
What if the cream I put on my newborn’s skin was as pure as the love I felt for him?
That became my obsession. I didn’t set out to start a company, but to solve a problem — one that every new parent faces, but few question.

Not in a lab — in a kitchen.
I started mixing my own formulas at home — not in a lab, but in a kitchen filled with laughter, dance parties, and the quiet determination of a mother on a mission. I used only what I could recognize: shea butter and coconut oil that nourished and healed. No additives. No preservatives. Nothing synthetic. Just the good stuff — rich, simple, and deeply restorative.

Beauty matters too.
Because motherhood, in all its mess and magic, deserves moments of delight. I wanted every parent to feel seen when they picked up that jar. To feel proud leaving it on their counter. To feel a little more human — and a little more powerful — every time they used it.

House of Gauss was born.
Not in a boardroom, but in the most sacred space there is — a mother’s hands. What started as a baby butter for our first child is the same one I use for our 5-year-old, our 7-year-old, and our newest baby boy. It’s the same one my husband uses — not just because it works, but because it reminds him of the care we built this family on.

This is not just diaper cream.
It’s a return to simplicity. A rebellion against the overly engineered. A love letter to every parent who wanted better.
